about us
The majority of people with disabilities are segregated and isolated after leaving high school. Most social activities are available to them only in segregated settings. As much as people with disabilities yearn for a typical life, it is not happening. The assumption is that systems take care of "these people" and so they are pushed to the fringes of society.
Junior Arc is a unique attempt to create opportunities for young adults, ages 21-35, BOTH with and without disabilities to come together, have fun and recognize the gifts that each of us can bring to our community. Learn more about our next event
You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. — R. Buckminster Fuller |
